Spent this work day building a jig table for the Sopwith Strutter. Quite a large table as the fuselage is 20 feet long with out the engine or rudder. Spent a bit of time trying to level the table, hangar floor not quite level. In the end though, table frame is level and square. Our supplier swears that our order of tubing and wood will be here next week. Sure hope so as students are ready to start building. Instructor Ken Lilja Has taken the original drawings for the wing ribs and coverted them to full scale. He is now ready to make the router jigs for the ribs, hopefully by then the plywood will be here and the students can start making ribs.
