Work was halted on the Sopwith Strutter 1 1/2 war aircraft project last Friday as I took a trip to The Biplanes and Triplanes fly in, which was located in Virginia Beach, Va. What a great show, There were many World War 1 reproduction aircraft in attendance. My main purpose was being able to get up close to the Strutter that the Military Aviation Museum has. I took many photos of the Strutter to show my aviation maintenance technician students here in Atlanta. Hopefully this will be a motivation to get ours in the air as soon as possible. It’s back to work this week and more progress will be made on our Strutter.
