It is with much pride, and a bit of regret, that we see two individuals graduate from Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) – Atlanta.
Charles Willis had over 900 hours of volunteer work on the WWI Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter for our Great War Aircraft Project. He started volunteering on the project in his first term as a student. He continued to work on the project until graduation from our aviation career school. Jeffrey McCravy had accumulated over 400 hours during the same time. Both of these students were instrumental in keeping our WWI aircraft project moving. Mr. Willis is a very good fabricator and Mr. McCravy is an accomplished TIG welder. Between these two, a lot of excellent work was accomplished on the Sopwith Strutter.
Today starts a new term at AIM Atlanta and we have our fingers crossed that a few students will step up and fill the shoes of our graduates.
