Had to go back and start over on our fixture for the cabane struts, as the first fixture was not sturdy enough. Our new fixture at this aviation career school is more rigid which will help in getting our parts to fit correctly. The upper fittings for the WWI aircraft are complete and we are about half way through the lower attach fittings.
Yesterday we had 5 AIM Atlanta student volunteers working on some of the wing attach fittings. They are becoming more proficient with a file and the drill press, these skills will help them as they move on too term 2 in their A&P license program.
