Bill Brown is a veteran aviation executive with nearly 40 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, airline operations, and maintenance. As Chief of Aviation at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), he leverages deep industry expertise and leadership to shape the next generation of aviation professionals. Before joining AIM, Bill held senior roles at Spirit AeroSystems, where he led global operations and engineering for high-profile programs with Boeing and Airbus. He also served in leadership roles at Hawker Beechcraft, AAR, and several airlines, driving operational improvements, labor negotiations, and safety enhancements across the aviation sector. A licensed A&P mechanic and commercial pilot with instructor ratings, Bill blends technical skill with strategic vision. He holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Aviation Management from Oklahoma State. He currently serves on AIM's Board and Aurum Capital Connect Advisory Board. At AIM, Bill is focused on elevating training programs, strengthening industry partnerships, and preparing students to meet the demands of a dynamic aviation industry.
