About AIM’s Atlanta Metro Campus

After outgrowing our original location in Lawrenceville, AIM relocated to a 112,000-square-foot facility in Duluth. Since 2010, we’ve grown into a dynamic space with 30 classrooms, training labs built for real-world practice, and an expansive aircraft hangar—complete with taxi space and an indoor engine test cell.

While impressive in their own right, the physical spaces only tell one side of the story. It’s what happens inside—the knowledge gained, and the relationships created—that sets our campus apart. As one of the handful of aviation maintenance schools in the country where you can obtain both A&P Certification training and an associate degree in less than two years, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and quality standards.

A Few Highlights

  • Hands-on experience: Work with industry-standard avionics equipment, 15 turbine engine trainers, dozens of reciprocal engine trainers, simulators, and even our newly acquired KingAir 65.
  • Programming built for today’s workforce: With regular reviews by our Program Advisory Committee and inspections from the FAA, you can rest assured knowing you are getting a quality education and learning useful skills—and you’ll leave prepared for the next step in your career.
  • Networking opportunities: Delta, one of the largest AMT training employers in the world, is headquartered just 30 miles from campus, and other major aviation employers—Boeing, Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney—are regularly on campus to develop the pipeline for their future workforce.  We host at least one employer a month in addition to quarterly career fairs.

We’re ready to welcome you to AIM Atlanta Metro. Let’s build your aviation career together.
