Program Information

AIM’s Professional Aviation Maintenance Certification isn’t a beginner’s course. Because the avocational program moves at a fast pace and delves deep into specialized topics, it’s best suited for those who have prior experience in aviation maintenance. 

 

In our classrooms and hangars, you’ll work through a mix of hands-on training and advanced instruction. From airframe types and aerodynamics to powerplant systems and reciprocating engines, you’ll fine-tune your skills and technical know-how to meet the latest FAA standards. You’ll also benefit from interactive video learning. The course features 97 videos that break down complex concepts and theories and demonstrate real-world test problems. You’ll have access to hundreds of practice activities designed to get you acquainted and comfortable with the test environment.
