The Combination Welding program pairs welding theory with on-the-job training. Whether you’re interested in becoming a maintenance welder, fabricator, or welder-fitter, among other relevant occupations, you’ll have the skills to tackle real-world challenges.

Gain hands-on experience in key welding techniques, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). You’ll also get comfortable with blueprint reading, cylinder safety, and plasma and oxy-fuel cutting. Beyond the practical expertise, we’ll help you build critical soft skills. Problem-solving, time management, organization, and communication techniques will set you apart in this competitive field.

Every step of the way, you’ll be supported by our instructors, many of whom join us as AIM alumni with decades of industry experience.
