Program Information

Welding, industrial system maintenance, air conditioning installation, electric motor design, 3D printing, communication systems, or sustainable energy—whatever area you’re interested in, our Maintenance Technician trade program is the perfect way to enter the field. Courses range from core subjects like electricity, transportation structures, power systems, and electrical control systems.

After the 15-month program comes to an end, you’ll be an ace in troubleshooting, inspecting, servicing, repairing, and fabricating, with an emphasis on documenting your work like a true professional. You’ll also learn how to follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe work environment—two extremely important (and hireable) skills.

Our instructors, many of them AIM alumni themselves, are the ones at the helm of your education. They’re dedicated to sharing their insights and practical knowledge, and they all have one goal: supporting and preparing you for the next step in your career.
