Program Information

Our HVAC trade program combines foundational theory with real-world experience. You’ll learn everything there is to know about HVAC systems and develop the skills to troubleshoot and repair both residential and commercial systems. Throughout the 12-month program, you’ll explore core topics like air-conditioning fundamentals, electrical theory, refrigeration systems, heat pumps, heating systems, and specialty tools. Plus, you’ll gain valuable experience working on everything from heat pumps to ice cream machines, using essential techniques like brazing, soldering, and psychometric testing.

 

With years of in-the-field experience, our instructors are here to share their insights and practical knowledge. Many of them are AIM alumni themselves, and they’re dedicated to guiding you every step of the way. Think of them as a supportive springboard when it’s time to take the next step in your career.
